Dream, Sandman ChroniclesI made the cloak and jacket for this version of Dream from Neil Gaiman's comic book. The flames on the cloak were hand-dyed to the appropriate gradient and appliqued to the base.
Coat, Fire EmblemThe iconic coat from the Fire Emblem video game series. All the details are appliqued, and the coat is fully lined. Incidentally, I made the black and purple cloak pictured here as well.
Ensign, Deeps Space 9Uniform from the Star Trek spinoff Deep Space 9. Jacket, pants, and undershirt made by me.

Loki, Agent of AsgardFrom the comic book by Al Ewing. I made coat, armor, gloves, pants, and diadem for this costume and cut the wig. The scales are sewn to a heavy fabric base, and most of the gold "metal" detailing is craft foam. The leg armor is a combination of foam, upholstery vinyl, and ABS plastic,. The horns are carved from insulation foam and smoothed with wood filler, painted with acrylic.
Tam LinI made doublet, shirt, and pants. The embroidery is based on an old Scottish ballad, "Tam Lin," with roses, horse, lion, snake, fire, and water representing important events in the story.

Wiccan, Young AvengersFrom the comic book by Kieron Gillen. Red details are done with stretch piping, and the galaxy-print spandex is custom-printed (the image used for printing was created by a friend). Shoes are glued into the feet of the suit, and there are invisible zippers in the sleeves so the hands can be freed without removing the entire costume. The "belt" details are craft foam, attached with Velcro with raised designs added with puff paint.

Batgirl and NightwingEverything made by me, from mask (which is just heat-shaped craft foam) and cowl to boots (which are boot covers sewn together and glued to shoes).
Bard, Dragon Age: InquisitionThe tavern bard from the video game Dragon Age: Inquisition. Made mostly of vinyl and within the space of two weeks, during which period I also achieved basic proficiency on the mandolin.
Illusive Woman, Mass EffectA female version of the Illusive Man's outfit in the Mass Effect games. The blazer and skirt are both lined, and the "shirt" is a detached pair of cuffs hand-sewn onto the ends of the sleeves and a dickie attached to the collar with snaps.
Ricken, Fire EmblemThis was an unusually extensive commission; I made every piece visible except the gloves and wig. "Metal" accessories were made with craft foam, and the hat brim was stiffened with plastic mesh - not a perfect method, but the cheapest one that would tolerate being stuffed in a box and shipped across the country. The client and I had similar measurements, so the costume is modeled by both of us.
Carver Hawke, Dragon Age 2My first extensive armor build, this is primarily constructed of thin HDPE sheet, painted with acrylic and spray paint, and weathered with acrylic paint and ferrous powder. I didn't make the sword, it was a gift.
Kaidan Alenko, Mass Effect 3This costume required three separate thicknesses of craft and EVA foam, two kinds of vinyl, plastic sheet, PVC pipe, and a Nerf gun. The camouflage pattern on the chest piece is hand painted, the shirt underneath is just as complicated as the armor over it, and the camouflage fabric had to be dip-dyed to the correct shade of gray. There are 13 pouches and other containers on this outfit, and all of them are functional.
Mad Moxxi, Borderlands 2I made the coat and hat for this costume. The stripes on both are all hand-sewn, the buttons and blue swirl design on the collar and cuffs are hand-painted, and the back design is applique and satin stitching.
Regency EnsembleMy first and, for now, only tailoring project, the tailcoat for this outfit was created from the Laughing Moon Regency tailcoat pattern, altered for fit. The collar and lapels are padstitched, and the buttons are fabric covered to match. The waistcoat was based on a pattern drafted by a friend for a class, and, because all of this happened in about a week, the shirt was borrowed from the same friend, and the trousers were sewn without a pattern.
